  • 1 large turkey
  • 12 ounces of:
    Red Creek All-Purpose Marinade or
    Red Creek Jerky Marinade or
Red Creek Bold & Spicy All Purpose Marinade
  • 1 large plastic bag
  • 1 large Reynolds turkey-size roasting bag
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
Rinse, clean and remove giblets from completely thawed large turkey. Pull neck skin tightly over turkey neck opening and either lace closed or secure in back with toothpicks. Place turkey breast-side down in large plastic bag, then place bagged turkey breast-side down in large bowl or pan. Shake chosen bottle of Red Creek marinade well and pour approximately 1/2 bottle into turkey cavity, close bag and refrigerate for at least two hours. Can refrigerate overnight if preferred. When ready to bake, remove turkey from plastic bag and drain marinade from cavity. Place turkey, breast-side up, in turkey-size oven roasting bag prepared with flour according to Reynolds' instructions; shake and pour 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of fresh marinade into turkey cavity, close bag and bake turkey according to oven roasting bag manufacturer's directions. Turkey will taste like smoked turkey, but will be tender, moist & juicy. Great for buffets! Makes fantastic sandwiches!

Variation:
This recipe is also great for wild turkey.
